Discover Phuket ~ Part 2 ♥ Beach

It was sunny day on the next day after our arrival, so where else to go except BEACH???

Kata Beach is just 15 minutes walk from our hotel. Gals, ONE IMPORTANT THING you must be well-prepared if you ever going to beach. It is your BIKINIS!!! I don't have any bikinis and I only have an UGLY piece of swim wear. And the most embarrassing thing is that every FEMALE on the beach wore BIKINIS but not you!

So I was praying for vendors to sell bikinis and coincidentally there was one. The Thai vendor sold me the bikini at 800 bahts at first and it's so fucking expensive! In addition, the material is not worth that price. Thus I bargained at 400 bahts (it's not cheap though), finally I got my first bikini.

Everyone on the beach is so open minded so I didn't care much anymore, guess what I did? I changed on the beach in front of everyone, the fact is NO ONE will look at you!

Sunbeds are available on pretty much the whole length of the beach. It cost 100 bahts each for the rental. Remember where is your sunbeds located as you might lost the way back to it. Well, this happened to us!

The sun was BRIGHT and we hardly open up our eyes!

As you can see, the beach was full of Western foreigners.

Age is not a matter, you can wear bikini at any age in any body shape. I think we should really learn from the Western people.

The bikini is really ugly on me, it can't keep my TREASURES stable. But no choice, looked like I can't stay on the beach without it. So this is the only pix to show it to you guys.

Things everyone will do, scratch on the sand.

Kids can play with anything though they were alone.

See, this is why even I changed under my towel, no one will bother to look at me. Half-naked ladies can seen anywhere.

Another kid was blowing bubbles to his mom!

I am extremely afraid of sun exposure but I absolutely enjoyed sun-bathing! It was really relaxing and I almost fall sleep under the sun! 4days 3nights stay is definitely not enough for me!

P/S: Finally I found the way to blog faster, never use windows explorer to blog!

Discover Phuket ~ Part 1

With AirAsia, Everyone can fly now~ Get exhausted with the bustling city life, the best place to relax your mind is to escape to a nature being destination with warm blue sea and white sand.

Early of December, it was Moonsoon season in Phuket. Before off to Phuket, the weather is the most terrifying issue. When I checked on the weather forecast, it always showed thumderstorm icons.

Fortunately, the SUN shone occasionally when I was in Phuket. This is a 4days 3nights trip and I thought it is long enough but it wasn't. Especially time flies in recent years, it was like only a blink of an eye, I have to leave the heavenly place.

Despite the fear for our safety and flight delay, AirAsia is still the best for its fare. Our flight fare cost us MYR 513 (all-in fare) per person. It took us only 1 hour to arrive Phuket, I thought it takes the same duration as Bangkok. (-.-")

The flight we took to depart frightened us the most, it was cloudy day and our plane kept bumping the cloud and it laned really unstable. Thanks god we were safe!

Shouldn't include meals on the way to Phuket if we know that it was only a SHORT 1 hour flight! Our very Malaysian food, nasi lemak and chicken rice.

Finally we landed at Phuket International Airport. The queue to pass the immigration gate was damn long and the officer was processing slow! Around 1 hour wasted here.

The boyfriend got mad while waiting...

I can't really remember why we choose to stay at Kata Beach, the place is more quiet compared to Patong Beach but it is so NOT convenient as in travelling from one place to another. The taxi fare is the most expensive expenses ever in Phuket, from airport to Kata Beach took around 1 hour and it cost 750 bahts.

The taxi driver said he don't know the way to our hotel that he need to surf the net and he stopped us at a travel agency shop. Suddenly got a guy hopped onto the car and introduced us their packages to Phi Phi Island. I think the taxi driver got a deal with the agency somehow. Luckily that we didn't sign up for any of the package as it rained during our stay there or else our money will be wasted.

I really hate Thai driver, their driving skills need lotsa improvements. Finally we reach our hotel, THE BEACH BOUTIQUE HOUSE. Thai people are always friendly, the hotel's staffs had really good services too. The staff sent us to our room using this golf car (I think it is a golf car).

I captured this picture coincidentally, I think this couple were kissing and get shocked when my camera flashed at them. LOL!

This is indeed a nice environment to stay, there are few boutique hotels that built this holiday village.

It is a English style boutique hotel blended perfectly with the Modern Colonial interior designs. The hotel looks more like a house than a hotel building, our room was on the second floor.

Our room is the cheapest superior room type that cost 280 bahts per night. We can definitely get a more spacious hotel room in Patong but their English style interior designs had caught my attention. I think this is why we ended up staying in Kata instead of Patong.

Get what I mean? It's really comfortable and warm room. *excited*

Even their tissue box is so special!

Even their phone is so so cute!!!

The shower room is rather small but it's okay, not that I spend most of the time in it.

And and and even the floor mat is adorable!

Oh, can you guess what is this? It's a shower gel container! CUTE MAX!!!

View from our room balcony... Swimming pool...

For the first and second day, we hardly see Asian tourist, they were all ang mohs. Wherever we went they looked at us like we shouldn't appear in this place.

After a quick rest in the hotel room, we walked around. It has bright sky on the day we arrived.

One of my favourite snack in Thai, pancake! The boyfriend said it tastes like roti pisang.

Banana with Honey pancake~ Yummy!

Kata is considered a rural area compared to Patong and Phuket Town. For people that loves nightlife, Kata is definitely NOT a place for you. And nothing much to explore nearby our hotel.

This is a market situated near our hotel, a boring market with all the locals straying around.

Stopped by a little motorbike stall selling barbecue food.

Barbecue chicken stick, 20 bahts each.

The cheapest stuffs that you can get in Phuket is from 7-11 convenient store. I beat you will never get such prices in Malaysia.

7-11 Malaysia, Y U NO SELL CHEAP LAYS???!!!!

Only 20 bahts per packet!

Only 10 bahts per bottle!

Who wants 40 bahts Heineken?

Had our dinner at Thai + Indian Restaurant down the street. It's really hard to find a nice Tom Yum Kung in Phuket, unlike Bangkok. Phuket trip had not fulfill my crave for Tom Yum! T.T

Phad Thai~ Their Phad Thai is way too dry and hard!

Tom Yum Kung~ Tastes not bad, but not spicy enough.

That's all for Day 1, off to beach next... Hooray!

P/S: Blogspot is damn troublesome!!!!
