Meatworks Restaurant

I realised that my blog posts are mostly on FOOD. This is the reason why I gained weight because I am too greedy for DELICIOUS FOOD!!!

Nevertheless this will also be a food post. I've been working on the same row of this nice place but yet never get to try it out. When the BF suggested to dine in this restaurant, I was like "want meh? I already got bored with the areas near my work place..." However, I still agreed with the plan BECAUSE I heard that they served DELICIOUS BEEF!!!

There is no one yet as we arrived a bit early for dinner, the place is comfortable and the staffs are nice, always plastered a smile on their face.

MEATWORKS ~ For all your meaty cravings. And more.

Pardon me! Camwhore is a must everywhere...

The food and beverages in this restaurant is a little pricey but it's all worth it! Juices are priced at RM 9.80

Another one self-shot... Skip this if it annoys you... Haha!

This is my Gemas Gold Classic Beef Burger, only RM 28 and the portion is big! The beef tastes good and juicy...

Description: 200g beef patty topped with melted aged cheddar, tomato ketchup, American mustard and prickles

BF ordered Meatworks T-Bone, 400g priced at RM 45.

A close-up pix, the meat is tender and tasty!

Captured a handsome having his meal...

And a camwhorer...

Little Korea, Solaris Mont'Kiara

Hola! I am back again! Today's post is all about FOOD!!!

I had my lunch at a Korean restaurant in Solaris Mont Kiara named LITTLE KOREA. I've heard of the good reputation of this restaurant but never get to try it out. If I were to rate the service and the food quality of the restaurant, it will be 4 stars.

Our bill came out to be RM 102.30 for 2 persons however it is worth. As it was our first time visit to the restaurant and we seldom dine in Korean cuisine restaurant, we had no idea what dishes to order. Hence we ended up couldn't finish all the food.

The best thing about Korean cuisine is their side dishes, it is various and nice!

This plate of pork costs RM 27 but it is yummy! Worth to eat!

Sorry if I make you hungry... I can't resist it too!

This is delicious too! *forgot the name of this dishes, it comes with rice*

Seafood Ramen *nom nom*

The portion is huge! Look at the bowl!!!

This is their marinated pork, it is delicious and tender juicy~

The environment is not bad neither.

After meal they provided fruits and desert as well, it is such a good service. I have no idea about the desert but it's so so nice!

The end of the meal. You guys can try it out if there is chance.

Bangkok Trip

My Bangkok trip wasn't wholly on vacation because I followed my bf while he went there for work. Hence not much place I had been visiting. The day we arrived at Bangkok Airport, there were crowds queueing to pass through the custom. Now I know why everyone loves Thailand especially the ang mohs.

The last time I was in Bangkok is already many years ago, when I was 12 that year. I never understand the tiger show that those adults meant and didn't knew much about Thai culture. Now I truly get the concept of why man (dirty old man) love Thailand!

The weather was bad, rained all day long. Don't really like rainy day while traveling, spoils everything and gota stepped on wet and slippery floor! By the way, Bangkok's traffic is terrible somemore rain slowed down every vehicles.

We took cab to reach our hotel, here I learnt that passenger has to pay the tol fee along the ride. Bangkok airport is not really far away from our hotel but the traffic already took us around 1 hour. Still it is cheap to take cab, only cost us RM 38 included tol. We stayed at DREAM hotel which located in Sukhumvit, it is convenient but way too complicated place.

The hotel was not bad but the location is abit out of expectation. I love the decorations and those friendly staffs, they always have their smile plastered on their face.

Such a nice accomodation I must recommend to you, somehow the hotel rate is not cheap. They charged RM400 per night but worth it. Yes, is my pleasure to stay there without paying a penny.

Just love everything there, look at the furniture. Not very special and yet they are simple but the whole feeling of this hotel is just fantastic.

The restaurant which we had our everyday breakfast here, the food are nice but they served the same dishes for the 5 days we stayed there. So we got sick of the food by the end of the day.
It's nice to dine in this romantic lighting place. They have pub at night time and they even have tango night on Sunday.

Weird shaped chair, looks like steamboat right? So special...

Romantic flowers

The building structure is odd as their swimming pool and gym area are at opposite building which is across the road. It's strange to put on swimming suit and walk on the road right?

The swimming pool is at 11th floor. The pool seem nice, too bad we didn't manage to swim because we were fully exhausted when we get back to our room.

Room 610 ~ our room. There aren't many rooms here, i think around 12 rooms per floor. Oh, can't wait to experience my long time expecting room.

Okay lar, not bad. They have blue lights everywhere that make you feel like staying in dream.

I enjoyed breakfast like this, salad and bread.

From Dream hotel, walked all the way to Asok station and then take train to Chit Lom station. Central World shopping mall, convention centre and others shopping malls are just located there. The Central World shopping mall has been fired by protesters however they are re-building it.

On Sunday, I witnessed every Bangkok residens in red shirt where they were having protest parade. It looked really horrific, the streets were all crowded by people in red and they even light on candle and dedicated roses along the roadside.

It's quite convenient to use MRT or BTS (sky subway) in Bangkok as their subway routes are linked to everywhere.

I wondered why my country's public transports are so lack of efficient, I ever took hour just to reach my college in Subang by taking KTM. Others subway service are better than us way too far.

The first thing I did in Bangkok was eating TOMYAM! My fav! I ate it for most of the meals. I just can't stop craving for it! Tomyam in Bangkok is really different from ours, they cooked it in original way unlike in m'sia most of them use tomyam paste to make it.

Most of the food courts use prepaid card or coupon system so we have to buy the prepaid card from the counter in order to buy our meals.

This shopping mall, 'ERAWAN' is like Pavilion, they sell all branded clothes and stuffs. So poor people like me prefer street market more.

This is the new build Central World mall. I have no idea what I was doing.

At night, we took MRT underground train to Lumpini for dinner. So we changed our coupon and start hunting for food. We tried their local famous dishes like papya and mango salad, tomyam kung and phat tai (something like tomyam char kueh teow).

Thailand is very famous with one of their public transport - tuk tuk. So we took a chance to experience it. That was absolutely a nightmare! Last time when I been in Bangkok or Hap Zai, it wasn't that scary though. Five of us rode on a tuk tuk and that mad driver drove it even faster than car on highway!

I think he tried to scared us because we demanded to have 200bahts for one tuk tuk. Luckily the ride was safe.

The next day, we went to Chatuchak Market. This is the must-go- market in Bangkok. They sell everything there, clothing & asseccories, furniture & home deco, food & beverages, handicrafts and many many more. Whatever you can name it they have it there.

I love this market so much! Their clothes there are so nice and affordable. All their stuffs are selling so cheap and you can still bargain with them.

Cute puppy can spotted everywhere.

The coconut ice-cream is so so yummy! Only 25bahts and they gave us free coconut drinks. Their coconut taste are too much different, fresher!

So so yummy and yet so cute!

I wanted this slipper so much on the first day I reach Bangkok but at the end of the day I didn't manage to get one! I almost going to get one but then the colour that I want was out of stock. I really should get other colour. I missed alot of opportunities to hunt there, I should get everything there lor!

Was too busy shopping there with my messy hair. I bought a tube dress here and I wish I bought more than one! Only 230baths (RM23)!

We discovered there was a long queue and we just followed the queue, I thought they were selling normal choco ice-cream but no, it is banana ice-cream. They soaked the freezed banana with choco. It's special physically but the taste is normal only.

Cabs in Bangkok are so colourful! They got pink, orange, blue, green. A lot of tuk tuk too!

On the last night, we came to this very unique restaurant called Cabbages & Condoms.

What's it so special with? Yup, all the deco there are made of condoms! Tiger Woods in condoms, Opps! should be Tiger Woods made of condoms.

Part of the concept of the restaurant is actually to promote better understanding and acceptance of family planning and to generate income to support various department activities of the Population and Community Development Association (PDA).

Sorry, we have no mints flavour. PLease take a condom instead hence I took one.
Our food is guaranteed not to cause pregnancy, such a meaningful slogan. LOL.

Of course coconut juice is my priority drink!

Hey, I am little condom girl!

The food are all so delicious especially their tomyam kung! I really in love with it!
This is the tube dress that I bought in Chatuchak Market. Nice right? Please say yes.

The most sad moment while travelling would be the end of the trip. I always wish I can live in holidays forever!
I miss Thai tomyam so much so I had my last meal at Bangkok Airport with Tomyam Kung again. You can see how much I love Tomyam.

By the end of the day, I left only 100bahts! I cried because of that! So sad, I'm officially broke!
That's all for Bangkok trip, I am wondering when is my next trip...
